Prana is the first clothing brand we took on here at Gear for Girls in the UK. It matched our ethos - go anywhere, go everywhere, sustainable clothing. Pieces you can wear to work, take a stroll in your lunch break and head in the same clothes after work to the yoga studio or you local crag.
Prana was born out of strong climbing roots and continues to sponsor climbers such as Steph Davis who's been pushing the limits of climbing for over two decades!
These days Prana in the UK has diversified, it's well known for it's yoga clothing and our customers have grown to love Prana's outdoor lifestyle and travel clothing pieces. The brand has a strong focus on sustainability using recycled polyester and organic cotton as much as possible.
Doing the right thing isn't always an easy choice but Prana has never been a brand that just sold clothing. It feels like they have always had products in the range from small countries such as Nepal. Prana recently jumped at the chance to work with Fair Trade USA to continue to grow their use of factories around the World where employees get a better deal.
