So now you've met the team! From left to right Nathalie, Cindy, Alison & Fiona.

We're just a group of women living in Northumberland who love being in the outdoors. We're all runners and we run at all standards from ultra competitive to running just for the enjoyment. Fiona completed the London Marathon this year, Nathalie had a great race in last year's Coastal Run, Alison got round the Lakes 50 and Cindy, fingers crossed, will be lining up for The Great North Run - very soon!!

Between us we also climb, ski and snowboard, walk long distance footpaths, mountain bike, cycle and mountaineer. Have I left anything out! And a driving passion behind what we do, both through our sports and at GearforGirls is a love of nature, and a passion for enjoying and preserving the environment we live in.

Just like most women we balance our sports with work and family commitments. Between us we have two husbands, two boyfriends, 7 children, two dogs, one cat, two rabbits, 8 hens and 4 gerbils!
So we know what it's like leading busy lives and we know the importance of keeping that piece of time just for yourself and for doing the things that you love.
