The Salomon Speedcross 3 CS is a serious winter shoe for trail running. The Salomon Speedcross 3 CS Trainer Shoe is built for speed with an ultra lightweight design. It works well in wet conditions with the ClimaShield water resistant upper deflecting water but unlike a fully waterproof upper still allowing some breathability. The anti-debris mesh keeps out the dirt! All in all the Salomon Speedcross 3 CS Trainer Shoe design helps to protect your feet. Designed for a female fit - these running shoes were designed for comfort. The Ortholite sockliner's anti-bacterial properties help reduce odor and moisture while the SCS cushioning system in the impact sections of the shoe are designed to add comfort.

My beloved salomons with grip!

I've become a salomon fan, finding them comfortable from first wear and good value. Was alternating between the crossmax neutral and 3D ultra both of which got me through miles of trails and a very wet, muddy CCC. Now I've discovered the extra grip of the speedcross and am learning to overcome my fear of slippy descents! Very comfortable and enjoyable. Like the waterproofing too - already tested in a puddle disguised as an ice patch. And - fantastic service as ever from gear for girls from advice to delivery. WIthin 24 hrs of deciding to buy they were on my feet in the hills in Scotland :-)

Great shoe for the trail. Been using them for a month now. Converted from the xa pro 3D ultra ( I've had 3 pair of them) I needed a bit more traction on the trail so decided the speed cross were the shoe to go for. Only drawbacks are the heal cup is a little low so takes a bit of getting used to. I'd like them in goretex but a pair of sealskins does the trick to keep the feet dry. Fantastic grip in both muddy and snow conditions! 4 outta 5
